What are the characteristics of Wang Shu’s calligraphy art?

Wang Shu learned from ancient times and mastered calligraphy. Ouyang Xun, the regular calligrapher, and Li Si, Li Yangbing, the seal calligrapher, were the first calligraphers famous for their seal script in the Qing Dynasty. The biography of "History of the Qing Dynasty" says: "The commentator said that his calligraphy is higher than that of Mi Fu, Huang Bosi, and Gu Congyi." His seal script basically retains the characteristics of the "Er Li" seal script, with strict and neat knotting, even and symmetrical distribution, and roundness and grace. On the basis of this, flat and diagonal straight lines are comprehensively used to create square and triangular spaces for echo, so the seal script is particularly refreshing and sharp. His handed down works include "Ode to the Virtue of Wine", "Qian Gua Seal Script Scroll", "Han Shang Fang Mirror Inscription", etc.
