Only through present and future efforts, can I become the ideal me in the future and live an ideal life.
So it seems that there is no point, but the reality is indeed divided. The premise of this split is that your current state is not good, or you are far from your ideal state, and you must strive to be another person and become a better person.
Therefore, in this kind of education, students have no self, so they can only follow teachers, parents and schools, get lost gradually, and even rely on someone who is taller than him, instead of becoming an independent soul.
Teachers often say that you study not for teachers and me, but for yourselves!
But in good conscience, how many students can be themselves? If you were yourself, you wouldn't listen to his nagging.
Fourth, independent calligraphy teaching.
So, back to calligraphy education, teachers should make your students become independent people. An independent person can only think independently if he has an independent soul. Only those who have their own souls can keep learning and improving and solve problems.

Five, teach people to fish
A qualified teacher and calligraphy teacher should teach your students to master the "fishing" in calligraphy. It is useless to teach students how to write a specific stroke or word, but to inspire him, stimulate his interest and inspiration, and let him master a set of effective methods slowly.
Method is the source of success, and the source of art will never be exhausted by those who master it. A man who can't do anything will just sit back and wait. He is a hungry baby. If no one feeds him, he will starve to death.
An independent and self-improving person can throw away all crutches and run all the way to success. He knows when to ask for others' opinions and when to learn from others modestly. He will not be modest because of modesty, nor will he be proud of himself.
