Wang Shizhen (1634-171year), formerly known as Wang Shizhen, was named Zizhen, attached to the top, also known as Ruanting Wang Shizhen, a native of Yuyang Mountain, and was known as Wang Yuyang in the world. People from Shandong Xincheng (now Huantai County) often call themselves Jinan people. In the 14th year of Qing Shunzhi (1657), he was a scholar, and in the 43rd year of Kangxi (1704), he was an official and a minister of punishments. An outstanding poet and writer in the early Qing Dynasty, after Qian, became a leader in poetry, and was called "the king of southern Zhu and northern Zhu" together with Zhu Yizun. The theory of "verve" in poetry creation has a far-reaching influence on later generations. In his early years, his poems were beautiful and simple, but in his middle age they turned vigorous. Good at each body, especially the Seven Wonders. He is good at writing as a journalist, including "A Talk on the Red Side", "Gu Fu Yu Ting Miscellaneous Records" and "Notes on Xiangzu".
Luo Song, a painter in Kangxi period, said that Wang Shizhen's calligraphy was "as elegant as a scholar". Almost some people call his calligraphy "the book of poets". Learned and ancient, he can also identify the genus of calligraphy and painting, Ding Yi and Jing Shi seal cutting.
