Yu [腧,鄃,俞, pronounced as yǘ(ㄩˊ)]
During the Shang and Zhou dynasties, there was an ancient Yu State in the west of present-day Shandong Province. The king of Yu State was called Yu Bo. The State of Yu in the Shang Dynasty was located in the area of ??present-day Liangshan County, Shandong Province. After the Western Zhou Dynasty, it moved north to present-day Xiajin County, Shandong Province. Although Yu State is small, it has a high level of civilization. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, seven exquisite Shang Dynasty bronzes related to the history of the Yu State were unearthed. The Yu State was probably later destroyed by the Zhao State. There is no historical record of the history of Yu State. It can only be seen in the discovery of underground cultural relics in the late Qing Dynasty.
