Ouyang Zhongshi, a native of Feicheng, Shandong Province, is a famous cultural scholar, calligrapher and calligraphy educator. In his early years, he worshipped under Xi Xiaobo, a master of Peking Opera. Currently, he is a professor at Capital Normal University, a doctoral supervisor, the director of China Institute of Calligraphy and Culture, and the honorary curator of Beijing tang style Art Museum.
He is also a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a consultant of China Calligraphers Association, an academician of China Painting Academy, a senior art consultant of China, an honorary curator of Shandong Local Records Museum and an honorary member of the 10th China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

In his early years, he studied in Tai 'an Grain City Primary School (also known as "Dai Lu Primary School", founded in 1902- Guangxu 28), then transferred to Jinan Economic Aesthetics Museum (now Jinan No.5 Middle School), studied in Jinan Provincial No.1 Middle School (now Jinan No.1 Middle School), and taught in primary school after graduation from 1948 Middle School.
1950 was admitted to the Philosophy Department of Fu Jen Catholic University in Beijing. 195 1 year transferred to the logic major of philosophy department of Peking University, majoring in the history of China logic. 1954 After graduation, he taught Chinese in Tongxian Normal School, Tongxian No.2 Middle School and Beijing 17 1 Middle School.
In the long-term teaching practice, he has actively and deeply thought about some long-standing problems in Chinese teaching. With his unique and profound understanding of the characteristics of China's language and writing, he put forward a set of scientific Chinese education reform scheme, which was piloted in middle schools and won unanimous praise from all walks of life, and was included in Fifty Years of Chinese Teaching in Beijing.
In 2006, he won the second China Lanting Calligraphy Award-Lifelong Achievement Award. In 2007, he won the sixth "Achievement Award of Plastic Performing Arts" and "Achievement Award of Plastic Arts" of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and was the only calligrapher among the winners of 1 1.
