Chen Guoying famous calligrapher
Chen Guoying (1949~) was born in Beijing. Member of Beijing Calligraphers Association, member of Beijing Seal Cutting Research Association, artistic member of China Artists Association Committee, consultant of Chinese History Museum Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee, and artistic member of China Calligraphy Research Institute. His works won the second prize in the first National Staff Painting and Calligraphy Selection Competition, the third prize in the National "Phoenix Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Art Exhibition Competition and the second prize in the "Looking forward to the Olympics" National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition Competition. His works were selected for the "China-Japan Calligraphy Exhibition", "China-Japan-Korea Calligraphy Exhibition", "The First National Calligraphy Exhibition", "The First National Calligraphy Exhibition of Couplets" and "International Calligraphy Elite Exhibition" and won the gold medal. Calligraphy works of Yellow River Forest, Kaifeng Forest, Gongyi Forest, Shantou Forest, Qujing Forest, Panjin Forest and Daqing Forest. Many of his works have been collected by friends in Japan, Korea and other countries, as well as Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan Province Province. This paper won many awards, such as "the artistic relationship between printing and photography". Biographies have been compiled into China Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers, China Yearbook of Indian Studies, China Dictionary of Modern Calligraphers' Names, Three Hundred Poems of Four-body Calligraphy in Tang Poetry, and Who's Who of Contemporary Art in China, etc.
