How to practice the basic skills of calligraphy

Contrarian writing requires "first right and then left", first down and then left, first right and then up. Every pen must have a "contrarian". This is an action of putting pen to paper in the opposite direction of the stroke direction. Is to make the brush strokes strong, subtle and full.

On the basis of mastering the reverse input, we should pay attention to: horizontal drawing and vertical drawing. Putting pen to paper is actually a brush stroke. This can fully expand and create conditions for strokes.

The act of writing can be divided into three steps. Take horizontal painting as an example: step one, go against the trend to the left; The second step is to quickly put pen to paper and spread it out; The third step is to slowly lift the front hair to the upper right.

There are two kinds of pens: hidden front and exposed front. When writing, it is called "hidden front", which is also called "anti-front". The hidden front can make the strokes round and thick. The so-called "hidden front covers its qi."

The exposed front is written with an oblique pen or a sharp pen. When the front end of the pen enters the paper, its front end is exposed. The oblique pen is called "flank". Exposing the front can make the strokes handsome and vivid. The so-called "exposure to the front to direct its gas."
