Su Shi has a saying, "It's not enough to pay back the pen like a mountain. Only by reading thousands of books can you understand the spirit.". A calligrapher without thoughts is a calligrapher at best, and his calligraphy has no artistic value. It's not a bad thing to be called nonsense by laymen. You may be a real calligrapher: truly valuable calligraphy has ideological connotation and is a kind of beauty expressed by the author with a unique aesthetic vision. For example, although Jin Nong's calligraphy works are childish, they are consistent with the lifestyle and attitude they pursue, and their artistic value is not the same as that of a child who doodles with his hands. Ni Yunlin is a generation of Gao Shi, who lives in seclusion on the shore of Taihu Lake, so his calligraphy works have an elegant and ancient atmosphere; As the grandson of the Song Dynasty, Zhao Mengfu was recruited as an official by the Yuan Dynasty. Only innovation is valuable. The creativity of calligraphy lies in connecting the preceding with the following. In the Tang Dynasty, Shi Yaqi said in On Books that "all books change", and it is worthless to learn from other people's things. Calligraphers are neither good nor bad. The real calligrapher lies in his uniqueness. No matter how art develops, it must be based on tradition. Anything that abandons tradition cannot be called art, but calligraphers become calligraphers because they can learn from tradition and become a family. This is creativity. In the history of calligraphy, almost all calligraphers have been influenced by the two kings to varying degrees, but only a few people have really become famous. Among them, Yan Zhenqing has gained strength, Liu Gongquan has his bones, Dong Huating has his elegance, and Zhao Mengfu has his charm, style, meaning, momentum and wisdom, until forever.

There are three realms of calligraphy: the realm of mind copying and hand chasing, the realm of handy, and the realm of mind forgetting. Its forgetting center state is the highest state.
