"Yo Ke"

It is a seven-character quatrain composed by Zhao Shixiu, a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty. This poem describes the poet's visit alone on a stormy summer night. The first two sentences explain the environment and season at that time. "Huangmei", "Rain", "Pond", and "Frogs Everywhere" describe the scene of summer nights during the plum rain season in the south of the Yangtze River: the sound of rain continues and the sound of frogs sounds. This seems to be a very "lively" environment, but in fact The poet above wants to reflect its "silence". The last two sentences highlight the characters and things. The host waited patiently and somewhat anxiously. He had nothing to do, so he "knocked" the chess pieces and looked at the flashing lights quietly.

The poem adopts the writing method of describing the scenery and expressing feelings, expressing the hidden loneliness in the poet's heart. The scenes are blended together, fresh, timeless and thought-provoking.
