Personal life
Hu Qing and Lao She are both Manchu. Hu Qing grew up strong and wanted her mother to go to school and eat by herself in the future. In this way, she studied at Beijing Normal University Women's Branch and Beijing Normal University successively.
Lao She went to English Oriental School to teach Chinese when he was 24 years old. After that, he taught in a middle school in Singapore for half a year. 1930 returned to China to live with his good friend Bai Dizhou. 1930, the music teacher of Beijing Normal University took Hu Qing to Bai Dizhou's home and invited Lao She to give a speech at Beijing Normal University. Lao She readily agreed that this was the first time Hu Qing met Lao She. After that, my friends tried their best to repair the marriage.
Later, Lao She returned to Jinan to teach. During the winter vacation, he wrote a long letter to Hu Qing, introducing his life experience.
The letter said: "Your first impression on me is like a Japanese girl. You don't like to say anything. We are all Manchu and have the same living habits. You are very studious. I know a lot about foreign classics, foreign geography, history and literary history. We have a common language and can live together. "
In his letter, Lao She also put forward the "Three Chapters of the Law": First, we should be able to bear hardships and eat wowotou. If you want to take the bus every day, don't look for me. Second, we should be able to study hard and learn a specialty; Third, don't quarrel, husband and wife live in harmony.
Lao She also said, "I have no European habits. When I went out, my wife walked in front and I followed with an umbrella. I won't do it. If I get angry, I'll beat my wife when I get home. I am willing to build a friendly and harmonious family. "
After that, Lao She wrote a letter a day, and wrote more than 100 letters in a row.
Hu Qing and Lao She embraced for the first time on the small beach behind Zhongshan Park. This is the "big move" made by the two men in that conservative era, and it is also the beginning of the ups and downs of their lives.
193 1 In the summer of, Hu Qing and Lao She got married in a three-story hotel in dengshikou under the auspices of Mr. Luo Changpei.
On the second day after marriage, Lao She said to Hu Qing, "I have one thing to make clear. On weekdays, if you see me sitting there without saying a word and smoking, just ignore me. I'm thinking. I'm not against you. I hope you don't bother me. " He added, "We should live in harmony and never quarrel." This sentence became the creed of Lao She and his wife. They have lived together for 35 years and never blushed.
Major achievements
1949 After the founding of New China, Hu Qing, who loved painting since childhood, decided to study painting at the age of nearly 50. Hu Qing has two teachers on the road of painting, one is Mr. Qi Baishi, who is very freehand, and the other is Mr. Fei, who is good at meticulous painting. Hu Qing's "The True Story of Two Masters", combined with his own understanding, makes the work attractive and widely praised. After years of hard work, Hu Qing has become an outstanding female painter in China. Among Hu Qing's painting themes, "Chrysanthemum" is a field that she pioneered and dominated, and her "Hundred Chrysanthemums" is an important achievement of painting art. She also introduced things that Chinese painting did not show, such as apples, pears and grains, into the painting themes of Chinese painting earlier, expanding the performance fields of Chinese painting and giving her works a strong flavor of life and characteristics of the times. This became her unique contribution to the art of Chinese painting. 1957 Joint exhibition with, Fei and Sun. /kloc-held a solo exhibition in Hong Kong in 0/980, and published the first collection of _ Youth Albums. From the paintings left by Hu Qing, we can appreciate her exquisite painting skills, interpret her rich inner world and feel her deep attachment to life, nature and all the beautiful things in the world.
His calligraphy and prose are also very interesting. The essay "Too Old to Catch Up" won the first prize of Beijing Prose, and Lao She, Friends and Yi Shu won the first Du Kang Prose Excellence Award and the third (October) Literature Award.
Painter's self-report
I studied literature and taught in the first half of my life. However, I like painting since I was a child, and I also like practicing calligraphy. At the age of forty, I began to learn painting from my teacher, which can be described as becoming a monk halfway.
But I am lucky, my freehand brushwork teacher is Qi Baishi, and my meticulous teacher is Fei _. What I learned from them is not only the technique, but also the ethics as an artist. This is a rare opportunity.
I have a wonderful family. My husband has been writing all his life. Although his own painting level is not as good as that of a kindergarten child, he is born with a pair of connoisseur's eyes and has a clear mind when commenting. Besides, he is enthusiastic and likes to make friends with painters. There are often painters at home, and the good paintings on the walls are often changed, and the walls are full of brilliance. We have a small yard, and planting flowers and grass is our common hobby. In its heyday, there are as many as 100 pots of single chrysanthemum, and family flower shows are often held in autumn. I am intoxicated with flowers, they are all my natural good teachers; And the family art salon-style ramble often keeps me in the passion of creation, which can be said that the environment has helped me.
I love to see all kinds of ancient paintings, I love traveling, I love sketching, and I like sketching everywhere I go. I don't think there is anything to boast about doing so. No, it's part of my life. I come from tradition and want to find something new in my life. I want to express, draw and draw my own things in a new way. I paint honestly, I write honestly, and I am honest.
I am seven out of eighty, and I unconsciously left hundreds of paintings and words, just like my footprints, which proves that I didn't come to this world for nothing.
I chose dozens of paintings to print here. From a distance, they really look like a series of sparse and curved footprints, just to add an extra demonstration: some people have trekked, some have climbed and some have searched, all in order to contribute to the beauty of the world.
