On the Inscriptions of Teachers' Calligraphy Works

Inscription refers to the written content except the written content in calligraphy works. Inscription includes: the source of text content, the object of gift, the reason of creation, the time of creation, the author's name and font size, etc.

There are some rules to follow when writing headlines:

1. The position of the signature should be appropriate, and there should be a suitable blank between the final payment and the text.

2. The font (script) used in signature is different from the text. Generally speaking, the font used for signature is more relaxed and lively than the font used for text.

3. Generally, the content of the signature should not be too long, and it should be controlled within the length of this lowercase letter, such as "XX book of XX year, XX month and XX day", and it should be controlled within 12.

4. The signature should correspond to the text content. If it is a poem, the signature can be written as "recording XXX poems" and "writing XXX words".
