1. Main (1-3)
It mainly examines whether learners are familiar with the use of writing brush and keep correct writing posture and writing method. By copying the calligraphy, we can learn the basic structure of Chinese characters and master the basic brushwork of Chinese characters, so as to achieve the requirements of accurate stippling and appropriate structural proportion. Assessment method: Pro-selected fonts: regular script and official script.
2. Intermediate (Grade 4-6)
This paper mainly examines the learners' ability to transform from copying to creation. Through copying and initial training, we gradually meet the requirements of skilled pen use, accurate stippling and complete and reasonable structural composition. Assessment method: select (more than two) fonts for temporary creation: regular script, official script and running script.
3. Advanced (grades 7-9)
The main assessment of learners' creative ability is through the training of combining creation and copying, so as to achieve skillful and natural brushwork, clever stippling, complete and reasonable structural composition and individual performance on the basis of tradition. Assessment method: clinical, creative and theoretical knowledge (more than two kinds): Kai, Li, Xing, Zhuan and Cao.
