1, Defeng Temple
Defeng Temple, located in Defeng Road, Dongchuan Town, the county seat, is a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. It was built in the second year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty. It is a three-hall ancient architectural complex contemporary with the Forbidden City in Beijing, and it is also the most complete existing bucket arch building in Yunnan Province. Dehua stele preserved in the temple was carved in the second year of Yuan Heng, Dali in Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 186), which is one of the eight famous monuments in Yunnan. The temple is now the location of the museum, with more than 600 precious historical relics preserved, and the variety, quantity and quality are the highest in the state.
2. Longhua Temple
The Living Buddhist Temple is located in Guanglu Mountain, which is 10 km north of Yao 'an. It is the largest and well-preserved ancient architectural complex in Yao 'an. It is also a historical and cultural treasure with the deepest historical accumulation and the richest cultural connotation. It is one of the oldest famous temples in Yunnan. Beautiful scenery inside and outside the temple, towering old trees, is an ideal place for leisure and sightseeing. The temple was built in the late Tang Dynasty (904-907 AD).
3. Dehua inscriptions
Dehua Monument is one of the eight scenic spots in Yunnan Province. For a moment, the inscription on the front is engraved with the inscription of Dehua of Xingbao Temple in Yangpai County, Guanghua House. Inscribed on the side of the monument is the Jisu Lingfeng in Ming Di, Yangpai County, Baozhou. The inscription describes the construction process of Xingbao Temple, eulogizes Gao's virtue and sacrifices to Jisu Mountain God. The two documents are exquisite, concise and clear, which can be called famous monuments in the Song Dynasty. They are rich in books and texts, and they are important textual basis for studying the Gao lineage and Dali official system.
The inscription Yin is "Rebuilding the Permanent Residence of the Yangpai Xingbao Temple", which was engraved in the sixth year of Xuanguang in Yuan Dynasty (A.D. 1376) and described the prosperous scale of Xingbao Temple. The inscription on the inscription tablet in Dehua is decorated with exquisite four-armed Buddha mother relief, which makes the tablet solemn and elegant and is a fine inscription in the Song and Yuan Dynasties. Now it is a cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan Province.
4. Wenfeng Tower
Wenfeng Pagoda was built in Qin Long in the third year of Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1569). It is about 30 meters high, hexagonal and hollow with nine floors. It consists of three parts: the tower foundation, the Sumi Mountain foundation and the tower body, all made of bricks and supported by a cross wooden frame for people to climb up and down. It is the only existing ancient pagoda in the county and is now a cultural relic protection unit in Chuxiong Prefecture.
5. litchi bridge
Lizhi Bridge, also known as Lianchang Bridge, is located on the Lianshui River in Guantun Township, which is the only way for the ancient Southern Silk Road to lead to the west. In the fifth year of Wanli (1577), Li Zhi, the magistrate, was in a bitter summer, and the flood surged, which was unfavorable for business travel.
Litchi Bridge is 30 meters long and 6 meters wide. It is a double-hole masonry structure with a span of 8.6 meters. In the thirty-fourth year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1903), Li Chuncan and Chen Xiujian, Yi people, are now cultural relics protection units in Yao 'an.
6. Yangpai Reservoir
Yangpai Reservoir, 3 kilometers away from the county seat, was built in the early Yuan Dynasty, formerly known as Yangpai Reservoir, and is the earliest water conservancy project in Chuxiong Prefecture. 1954 expansion and reconstruction, Mingyangpai Reservoir. At present, the dam height is18.5m, the dike length is 236.2m, and the designed storage capacity is 38 million cubic meters. It has the triple functions of water storage and flood prevention tourism. In recent 40 years, many comprehensive facilities have been added in the rainwater harvesting area of the reservoir area.
