What spirit does Yaogang 1949 express?

It shows the heroic demeanor and revolutionary spirit of brave, loyal and fearless scouts in the early days of liberation, as well as the great sacrifices and contributions made by the people of Feidong for the battle of crossing the river.

Yaoyi is located in CuO Town, Feidong County, the eastern suburb of Hefei, with Huainan Railway and Hefei-Wuhu Highway in the south and National Highway 3 12 in the north. It takes only half an hour to drive from Hefei to Yaogang. When I came to Yaogang, the first thing I saw was the "Memorial Hall of the former site of the General Front Committee of the Battle of Crossing the River", which was inscribed by Shu Tong, one of the commanders of the Battle of Crossing the River and a famous calligraphy master, on September 1986.

Yao Gang Memorial Hall is the fourth batch of national patriotic education bases named by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China. Over the years, he has made positive contributions to the patriotic education of party member, the masses and students in Hefei and its surrounding areas. However, due to the long construction time and imperfect hardware facilities, the museum is still a 3A-level scenic spot and cannot play its due role.

The county government decided to invest 5 million yuan to upgrade the memorial hall and create 4A scenic spot. The CuO Town Government responded positively and was responsible for the relocation and resettlement of farmers involved in the upgrading and transformation. It is understood that this upgrade is mainly to increase the 2.76-kilometer road from Hema Road to the memorial hall and repave asphalt.

At the same time, the surrounding environment of the memorial hall will be comprehensively improved, such as removing 16 households, requisitioning 7 mu of land, expanding the original parking lot, and building a reception center and ecological toilets, so that the former site of the staff office and the former site of the East China Bureau can be integrated into one, forming a circular pedestrian passage and fire escape, which is convenient for tourists to visit, learn and protect cultural relics, and then better play the missionary role of the memorial hall.
