Qiao Feng, formerly known as "Qiao Feng", is an ancient bridge in the western suburbs of Suzhou, Jiangsu. It has a history of many years and spans the Tang River (ancient canal). It is famous for the poem a night-mooring near maple bridge written by Zhang Ji, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. Now it forms Qiao Feng Scenic Area with Hanshan Temple, Tielingguan and Qiao Feng Ancient Town.

I haven't seen Qiao Feng for many years. I remember going there when I was young. On the second day of the Lunar New Year, it happened that my colleague Zhang Factory invited me to his house for dinner. His home is near Qiao Feng Scenic Area, so we went there with great interest after a hearty meal.

Walking out of the community to the canal, strolling on the fitness green runway, a warm wind and Buddha's face, is refreshing. On the runway, there is a father riding a bicycle with his children. They are struggling with their knees bent, and their shiny bicycles are shining in the sun.

To the east of the fitness track is the Canal Sports Park. In the park, there are old people playing gateball. Some children are playing basketball, some are playing football and some are running. They try to wear short-sleeved shorts to give people an upward spirit.

It's hot to walk, so take off your coat quickly. Crossing the gate of Heshan Bridge, I came to the gate of Qiao Feng Scenic Area. It's coming from the loudspeaker. Please show me your health code and put on a mask. Fortunately, there is a mask in the bag.

As soon as I entered the scenic spot, a fragrance came to my nose. Chimonanthus praecox and Prunus mume are actually in bloom, bees are flying around among the flowers, and people hold up their mobile phones or cameras to take pictures.

Many people come to Qiao Feng Scenic Area today. A woman dressed in ancient Hanfu walked by, thinking that she had crossed into the Tang Dynasty.

Zhang Chang stayed in Suzhou for so many years, but he didn't know there was a Maple Bridge. He thought it was just a place name. I told him that Fengqiao is an ancient arch bridge, which has been well preserved to this day. One night in the Tang Dynasty, the poet Zhang Ji spent the night in Qiao Feng. On a frosty autumn night, he heard the midnight bell of Hanshan Temple, and his worries about the motherland spread with the autumn frost. He wrote a poem called a night-mooring near maple bridge, which will be circulated forever.

In front of us is a magnificent bridge with pavilions across the Grand Canal. I remember a few days ago. Without this bridge, it is likely to be newly built. Standing on the bridge is like sitting on a passenger ship moored on the water. Facing the two ancient stone arch bridges in Jiangfeng, we can appreciate the distant melancholy of Zhang Ji's "Sleeping on the River at the Moon".

There is a bronze lamp on the west side of the bridge.

A tour guide is introducing: the copper lamp in front of us is made completely according to the sample of Tang lamp, and 6 tons of copper is used. The height of the lamp is 6 meters, which means it is a great success. Under the lamp, there is a lotus pedestal, with a hexagonal lamppost on the top. The unicorn, a god beast carved with wishful patterns and folk sacrifices, is gilded on the top, which shows the elegant and solemn style of the Tang Dynasty and has become a landmark landscape of Zhou Jiangfeng, which is associated with Tang Zhong, Tangta and Tang poetry in time and space, enriching the ancient culture of the scenic spot.

Lantern in Tang Dynasty is a Buddhist object. Buddhism believes that lanterns can break the darkness and bring light, which is the purpose of Buddhism. Qiaofeng has an ancient Hanshan Temple, and the former Hokkeji in Zhou Jiangfeng is a famous Buddhist resort. When opening the Tang lights, the abbot of Hanshan Temple was invited to preside over the lighting ceremony, so it was very aura. Everyone touches it and makes a wish, which can eliminate the troubles of the past and bring light to the future life.

Along the canal, there is a sign that says Guqian Road. Colleague Zhang Chang said, "Where is the ancient road?" I said, "The old bridge has changed. It is not what it used to be." In the pavilion by the canal, many people are drinking tea and chatting, bathing in the spring and enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

Through the moon gate, the front suddenly brightened up. Many tourists gathered around the guide in red in front of the ancient stage to listen to his explanation. They are as serious as primary school students.

There is a stone arch bridge beside the square. Zhang Chang thinks this is a maple bridge. I told him it was Jiangcun Bridge. Jiangfeng, a "fishing sleep", refers to Jiangcun Bridge and Qiao Feng.

Opposite the canal is Hanshan Temple. The temples in Suzhou are closed for epidemic prevention. A beautiful tour guide is introducing Hanshan Temple. She pointed to the words Hanshan Temple outside the opposite gate and told us:

The word "Hanshan" was written by Wen Zhiming, a great writer in the Ming Dynasty. It is said that Wen Zhiming charges writing fees. At that time, the temple asked him to write the name of the temple. After writing two words, the little monk in the temple reported to the abbot that there were only two thousand two hundred pieces of silver in the warehouse. He probably spoke louder and was heard by Wen Zhiming, so he stopped writing the third word. The word "temple" comes from the hand of Tao Junxuan, a famous native of Donghu, Zhejiang. He offered to write for the temple for free, but the third word asked him to pay, and the temple agreed, so the word "Hanshan Temple" we saw today was signed by Tao Junxuan.

She smiled and said, "Tao Junxuan is really smart. Although it is free, it will be passed down through the ages. "

Walking along the river bank, I finally saw the Maple Bridge on the other side. The maple bridge is crowded with people, and there are cruise ships in the river that seem to be waiting for the guests who strike midnight. There is also a wooden bridge ahead, which has never been used before. It is probably newly built. This is an all-wood covered bridge with three pavilions of Jiangnan folk architecture, and the bridge deck constitutes the traditional covered bridge in Suzhou. It spans the entrance of the canal and has a wide view. It is the best place to watch Fengqiao and Tielingguan. It follows the name of the ancient bridge "Zhongting Bridge" in history.

There is a book plaque on the covered bridge, "Walking on the Moon in My Heart", which is inscribed on the late famous painter Wu Mu. On the pillar, there is a couplet "Is the resort in Miao Temple again? Qing swam by herself and listened to the ringing of the moon. " At night, if you walk on the bridge in the moonlight, you will feel that the bright moon of the Tang Dynasty is back today.

There are pictures of Ji lying on the bridge. He closed his eyes and mused. I seem to see him writing a night berth near Fengqiao in the middle of the night, worrying about the country and the people.

There is a stone tablet of "a night-mooring near maple bridge" beside the recumbent statue, written by Yu Yue, a master of park studies and calligrapher in the late Qing Dynasty.

Turn around. Maple Bridge is just around the corner. I quickly set foot on the Maple Bridge, stood on the bridge, stroking the railing and looking at the flowing canal water. Mao Ning's song "The Sound of the Waves Still" sounded in my ear:

The moon falls and cries, and it will always be a thousand years of wind and frost.

The sound of the waves still disappeared. ...

Yes, the original night will never be seen again, but the wind and frost of that year will always remain in people's hearts.

Directly opposite the Maple Bridge is the iron bell. Tielingguan, also known as "Qiao Feng Enemy Tower", was built in the thirty-sixth year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1557), and it is the only well-preserved relic of the Anti-Japanese Pass in Suzhou.

Zhang Chang didn't know there was such a pass in Suzhou. He said: "I didn't expect that there was an invasion in Suzhou at that time." I said, "We are so happy to live in peacetime."

A spring breeze blew slowly, and suddenly I saw willow branches dancing with the wind on the embankment next to Tielingguan, just like a slim girl. New green has been added to that branch, which is a new bud of tanchun, shy and charming, as if waving to people affectionately. ...
