Cuihu Lake in Yuechi County is the first scenic lake in northern Sichuan. Cuihu, formerly known as Xiangshuitan Reservoir, started construction at 1959, and the dam was completed in August of the following year, with a storage capacity of nearly 1.7 million cubic meters. After making full use of natural conditions, the county party committee and government built the reservoir into a tourist attraction on 1 983p and named it Cuihu. There are eight scenic spots in Cuihu, namely: Jade Belt Long Beach, Pinghu Blue Light, Fiona Fang Autumn Moon, Overflow Waterfall, Yin Guang Reflection, Turtle Mountain Range Rover, Longhua Sunset and Jincheng Yanyun.
