The first stroke: point, should be slightly smaller, the second stroke: point, should be slightly larger, the third stroke: lift, pay attention to the angle and direction.
Sandianshui is a very commonly used male radical. It seems simple, but it is also very particular in writing. Three points of water, three strokes, two points and one lift.
In terms of structure, the first point of the three points of water should be drawn inward, the second point should be pointed outward, and the third point should be drawn inward. Note that the third point is a lift, and the three points form a radian.
The closing stroke of the last "lifting" stroke should be aligned up and down with the first point of the stopping stroke as much as possible. The difficulty with three points of water is that many friends cannot grasp the direction of the third point. As we all know, my country's traditional calligraphy pays attention to "roundness, fullness, dignity and beauty". If we observe carefully, we can easily find that "three points of water" often form an encirclement with the entire font. This enclosure just highlights the "roundness and fullness" of Chinese calligraphy. This kind of encirclement makes the font form an invisible "art halo". As you can see in the picture above, the three points of "氵" (三水) form an arc. Therefore, when writing the first point, it should be tilted inwards, the second point should be tilted outside, and the third point should be aligned with or slightly aligned with the second point. It should be inward, and these three points should be arranged on the circle formed by the entire font, showing the "encirclement trend" of calligraphy.
