Why not let the skinny body learn?

Many calligraphy teachers don't recommend learning thin gold because this font is easy to learn, but you can't write. You can only write Song Huizong's style, but not your own personality, which is also a taboo in calligraphy learning.

Therefore, many calligraphy teachers are opposed to learning Song Huizong's thin gold calligraphy and Jin Nong's "lacquered calligraphy", and their personalities are too strong. Generally speaking, they suggest learning Tang Kai's calligraphy to prepare for their future writing.

However, if you like this kind of calligraphy, you can also learn it. It is also possible to like to integrate personality into the thin gold style. Not everyone can become a calligrapher. It is also good to choose your favorite font and practice all the time.

Thin gold body introduction:

Shoujinti is a calligraphy font created by Song Huizong Evonne, the Emperor of Song Dynasty, and it is a unique regular script font. Because this font style is thin, hard, steep and high, it was written by the emperor, hence the name "thin gold body".

Thin gold body was not invented by Song Huizong out of thin air, but originated from Song Huizong's study of ancient regular script, which was summed up by himself. Specifically, Shoujin style absorbed the characteristics of regular script written by Tang calligraphers Xue Ji and Liu Gongquan, and summed up a regular script style with thin body and iron-painted silver hooks.
