Gong Hongquan’s pen name and stage name are both Shi Yun, and he also signed Shi Yun’s calligraphy. He was born in December 1983 to a peasant family in the southwest border of Lantian, Shaanxi Province, which is famous for its jade. Graduated from Normal University, bachelor degree, member of the Communist Party of China. He is currently a member of the Chinese Literati and Calligraphers Association, a member of the Dongpo Art Calligraphy and Painting Society, a member of the Provincial Young Calligraphers Association, and a member of the Pagoda District Calligraphers Association.
