The Plough and Weaving Map of Yongzheng was based on the Plow and Weaving Map printed in Kangxi period before Yongzheng ascended the throne, and was carefully drawn by the Qing court painters. * * * A total of 46 pictures, including 23 ploughing and weaving pictures, each with poems inscribed by Yongzheng himself, and stamped with the seals of "Prince Yong Bao" and "Broken Dust Lay Man". The picture album is exquisite in pen, elegant in color and vivid in characters, depicting the scene of hard farming of laborers. Yongzheng's calligraphy poem Plough Weaving Map combines five-character poems with far-reaching artistic conception with elegant and vigorous calligraphy, realizing the perfect unity of poetry, calligraphy and painting, which can be called a perfect and harmonious palace art treasure. The atlas is hidden in the Forbidden City, the Wuying Hall of the Forbidden City, and has never been publicly displayed for nearly 300 years.
