The situation of middle schools affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts

The secondary art school affiliated to the Central Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1953. During the period of 1954, Ding, the first principal, visited the former Soviet Union with the delegation of China's fine arts education, learned the educational experience of the secondary art schools affiliated to Moscow Art School (now Academy of Fine Arts) and Leningrad Art School (now Repin Academy of Fine Arts), and brought back their student works and syllabus, which had a far-reaching impact on the running of the secondary schools affiliated to Academy of Fine Arts and laid a solid foundation. Over the past decades, the affiliated middle school has trained more than 1300 students, which has become an important guarantee for outstanding students in colleges and universities, and has also delivered a large number of medium-sized artistic talents with solid foundation, wide knowledge and strong adaptability to the society.

The attached middle school lasts for four years. The basic idea of the course is to attach importance to the foundation, the study of cultural lessons and the cultivation of culture and art, and strive to cultivate students to pay attention to society, observe life and nature, form the habit of artistic thinking, and cultivate lively, vivid and keen artistic feelings and artistic creation ability. Specialized courses include sketch, sketch, color, creation, design, perspective, anatomy, Chinese painting and calligraphy. After entering the senior year, according to the students' application, there are special elective courses such as Chinese painting, oil painting, mural painting, printmaking, sculpture, graphic design and environmental design. The culture course adopts ordinary high school textbooks, focusing on the liberal arts courses such as Chinese, history, geography, English and politics in ordinary high schools. Social art practice is arranged in the second and fourth grades, and the fourth grade also has the content of traditional culture inspection in social art practice.

There are 280 students in the affiliated middle school. There are 64 full-time faculty members, including 34 teachers, including 28 professional teachers, 6 culture and sports teachers, 9 associate professors and 2 senior lecturers. The current president is Associate Professor Gao Tianxiong, and the vice presidents are Associate Professor Han Ning and Ms. Jia Xiaoyan.

The affiliated middle school recruits junior high school graduates and senior high school students aged 1 year, and takes professional and cultural examinations at the end of April and the beginning of May every year. Professional examination subjects are sketch, sketch, color and creation, while cultural examination subjects are Chinese, foreign languages and mathematics. In 2007, the oral test and the additional test of art theory were resumed, and the admission was approved by the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Central Admissions Office. The probation period is 1 year after admission, and the official student status will be obtained after passing the examination.

The affiliated middle school library has more than 80,000 books, and the teaching reference room has collected outstanding students' homework, graduation creation and a number of wonderful foreign students' homework since 1950s. In September, 20065438+0, as a key cultural construction project during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, the new site of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the affiliated middle school of Chaoyang Huajiadi were completed. In April 2005, the Academy of Fine Arts bought 205 mu of land in the east of Yanjiao, Beijing, and built a 73,000 ㎡ school building as a new campus, which was completed in 2007. New Bauhaus-style schools in Germany have teaching buildings, multimedia classrooms, libraries, reading rooms, 200m runways, small football fields and 500-person terraced classrooms, which have gained more space and provided good material conditions for the development of the new century.
