Therefore, in order to make our school life more colorful, show our students' talents, create a good learning atmosphere, stimulate students' interest in learning English, and improve our listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities in a relaxed way, the English Festival of Qilin Primary School of Nanshan Experimental School is now officially opened.
English is one of the most important international languages in the world, and it is also the most widely used language. Statistics from 1986 show that about 400 million people speak English as their mother tongue. Almost one in ten people can speak English. People from Britain, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand all speak English.
During this English Festival, there are various activities, such as 1 and the English handwriting contest for Grade 2 students, the English singing contest for Grade 3 and 4 students, and our English composition and manuscript writing for Grade 5 and 6.
