Xiao Xian studied famous calligraphy with her father Xiao Tieshan since childhood, which laid a solid foundation for the later development of calligraphy. Her father, Xiao Tieshan, is a famous person in Southwest China and a member of Nanshe.
Xiaoxian moved to Guangzhou with his father at the age of three and lost his mother at the age of five. At the age of seven, she wrote a picture after her father. Her fierce brushwork and bold spirit pleased her father, and she began to teach her calligraphy seriously.
At the age of thirteen, at the opening ceremony of Guangzhou Daxin Department Store, Xiaoxian wrote a couplet to congratulate her. The couplet was written by her father: "Four hundred trillion rivers and mountains; The newly-built 12-story building in the world, while the viewers admire it, some people doubt that a little girl can write such a good masterpiece. Seeing the fall of Northeast China, he decided to go back to Nanjing together. Then the "December 28th Incident", "August 13th Incident" and "July 7th Incident" intensified, and War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression broke out in an all-round way. Like many compatriots who did not want to be conquered people, Jiang Xiao and his wife were exiled in Jiangxi, Sichuan, Qinghai, Lanzhou and other provinces, hungry and cold, and did not return to Nanjing until one year after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. At this time, my father died in Shanghai last year.
After the liberation of Nanjing, Xiao Xian went to east china institute of technology to study, sent her brother, daughter-in-law and daughter to join the army, and taught private literacy classes at her home in Xuanwu Lake. The couple also took part in the activities of the China Revolution. 1963 Jiang Da died of illness, and Xiao Xian was employed as a librarian of Jiangsu Provincial Museum of Literature and History the following year. Shortly after the "Cultural Revolution" began, Xiaoxian was forced to copy the university newspaper for the neighborhood committee and explain the old social relations. She was extremely depressed.
It was not until the end of the catastrophe that the great calligrapher Xiaocai was able to devote himself wholeheartedly to the law art he loved all his life and ushered in the most brilliant peak of his calligraphy career.
She has served as honorary director of China Calligraphy Association, vice chairman of Jiangsu Calligraphy Association and honorary chairman of Nanjing Calligraphy Association. After that, book fairs were held in Nanjing, Jinan, Guiyang and Beijing. The title of this book is widely circulated overseas, and the Japanese Prime Minister also highly praises it. She died on 1997 1 month 16 at the age of 95. Jiangsu Province held a grand farewell ceremony for her and established Xiaoxian Memorial Hall in Jiangpu County.
To this end, the Guiyang municipal government set up a calligraphy exhibition hall of Mr. Xiao Xian in the famous scenic spot Cuiweige, which was inscribed by Mr. Qi Gong, a master of Chinese studies. The Little Book is displayed in the museum for public viewing all the year round.
