The ancient temples are famous for their scenic spots. Guo Zhiqi, a great scholar in the late Ming Dynasty, has enough poems from Zen master Huaishishan in Shuangfeng Temple to testify. Guo Shiyun:
In the past 3 years, the old Buddha Palace still vaguely remembers the stone mountain Weng.
It was intended as a lamp bowl for the dharma circle, so it was empty to try the sound in the dust.
the walls are full of people, and it's morning and evening, and a bay is flowing in the west and east.
where is the bodhisattva tree on the platform today? xizhang is far away from the purple peak.
Shuangfeng Temple, with an area of 3,2 square meters, is a tourist attraction in Jieyang, including Ursa Mahayana Hall, Tianwang Hall, Tibetan Scripture Building, Guanyin Pavilion, East Pavilion, West Pavilion, East-West Corridor and Monk House.
There is a temple in Shuangfeng Temple, Guanshou Temple, which says: "Double cultivation and discipline, one thought of compassion and acceptance of prajna, the peak is high and the forest is dense, and the sound of the bell is fascinating to convert." Describing scenery and expressing nature not only expresses the belief and purpose of Buddhism, but also writes the harmony and perfection of nature. The initial combination of the upper and lower couplet is precisely the temple name "Shuangfeng", which is even more ingenious!
It is particularly worth mentioning that there is also an emperor couplet in the Daxiong Hall of Shuangfeng Temple, which is unique among many ancient temples in Chaoshan, and it can be called a must of this temple. This couplet was written by Cai Shuyong, a calligrapher in Jieyang. The couplet says: "Draw the flow of the sea, the long flame of Chanz lamp; It is said to the sages and taught by the sages. " The couplet comes from the Preface to the Sanzang in the Tang Dynasty written by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong. Sanzang is the general name of Xuanzang, a monk in the Tang Dynasty, commonly known as Tang Priest. The All-China Federation of Literary Works is elegant, steady in fighting, unique in style, and clear in theme. Through layers of arrangement, the upper and lower federations have successfully portrayed Xuanzang's identity as a teacher, traveler, monk in Tang Dynasty, translator and so on. Such writing has a wide background, large capacity, numerous images and endless charm.
