How about Ou Liang's calligraphy?

Ou Liang's calligraphy evaluation is as follows:

Ou Liang, a young calligrapher, made his mark in the book world with his unique Weibei calligraphy.

Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties was the golden age with the highest achievements in regular script. When Ou Liang first learned calligraphy in his early years, he spent two or three years practicing Ou Yangxun's regular script, and learned the brushwork of "putting danger in peace".

At the same time, I found the "elegant and gorgeous" structure I needed in Yan Suiliang's regular script, and through the study of the letters of "Two Kings" (Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi) and Mi Fei, I realized the Fiona Fang transformation of ancient brushwork and the broad and elegant style of writing, and achieved a high degree of integration of calligraphy styles between the North and the South. These lessons laid a solid foundation for his future calligraphy creation.

There is a saying in calligraphy that "learning books before Wei and Jin Dynasties is equal to giving up halfway". Later, under the guidance of a famous teacher, Ou Liang chose "Longmen Twenty Products" in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties as his main direction of study and creation. All the inscriptions related to Wei Bei have become a model for him to learn.

After three years' hard study, digestion and comprehension of Wei Bei's brushwork and other techniques, he finally found a new way of Wei Bei's creation that seemed to be tailored for him.

Now, his second book, Longmen 20, and Congbaozi Monument are combined into one, which is clever and clumsy; Block letters and Chinese letters are simple and beautiful with the combination of epitaph of Longmen Twenty and Zhao Kai's script. On the basis of block letters, the works of block letters and Xiao Zhuan are naturally blended with the interests of Yu Youren, "Two Kings" and Mi Fei.

Ou Liang 20 13 won the 6th China Lanting Calligraphy Award, and his works entered the national calligraphy exhibition. These years' creative practice proved that he chose Weibei as his own road, which also provided beneficial enlightenment for later scholars.

Anyone's road to learning books is extremely difficult. Similarly, Ou Liang should go further on the road of calligraphy, and should constantly "transform" Wei Bei's creation to create a new realm. To realize the grand idea of the transformation of Weibei, creative calligraphers are needed to climb it hard.
