Wang Qingyu's calligraphy art not only has the profound heritage of traditional culture, but also has the comprehensive inheritance of calligraphy skills, art and Taoist thought, and also has the modern aesthetic spirit of science, heroism, elegance and individuality. All five bodies are good at it, especially refined official script and cursive script. The official script is based on Han Li, which is a combination of seal script, bamboo slips and Weibei. The middle body and the side body are used together, and Fang Bi and the round pen use each other, which is simple and dense, ingenious and steady, anti-ancient and innovative, and has a unique style. The cursive script was taught by the master of calligraphy, Mr. Qi Gong, and mixed and brewed, forming a style of combining rigidity with softness, being dry and moist, vigorous and concise, fresh and natural. He inherited the four schools of Xin 'an, as well as the masters of Bin Weng, Wu Changshuo at sea, Tang Yun and so on, and learned from others. The Xin 'an mountains and rivers in his paintings are lush, deep and quiet, green and full of pastoral interest, while the Huangshan Mountain is magnificent, leaning against the sky, magnificent, and the flower-and-bird figures are smooth, moist and full of charm. Mr. Mai Runguang, a famous collector in Guangdong, has a good eye for English, saying that his works have great collection potential, and he buys them for 6,543,800 yuan every year. In recent years, his works have been selected for many national exhibitions and won heavy prizes. Dozens of newspapers, TV stations and other news organizations in China have reported his achievements in painting and calligraphy for many times, and his biography has been included in large dictionaries such as Dictionary of Contemporary Artists' Surnames, Yearbook of Contemporary Artists in China and Runge Expo in China. He has published personal albums such as Collection of Wang Qingyu's Works and Hundred Books.
Wang Qingyu has made some achievements in art, and she has never forgotten to repay the society. Since 2000, he has participated in the Hope Project painting and calligraphy charity sale for many times and donated tens of thousands of yuan. Since 2003, he has generously subsidized the schooling expenses of more than ten poor primary and secondary school students in his hometown until he finished his studies. Commended by Anhui Provincial Committee, he was awarded the "Project Hope Contribution Award" and the honorary title of "China Top 100 Artists with Virtue and Art" by the Ministry of Culture.
