My favorite calligrapher is the famous Mr. Wang Xizhi. I like Mr. Wang Xizhi because he loves the fighting spirit in calligraphy. He began to practice calligraphy at the age of seven, and he was diligent and studious. He loved calligraphy, and kept practicing for decades, which made his calligraphy attainments reach the peak, leaving a famous book "Preface to the Lanting Pavilion" known as the "Book Sage".
In order to obtain a higher level of calligraphy, Wang Xizhi always traveled all over the country, explored the inscriptions of past dynasties, and accumulated a lot of calligraphy materials. He practices calligraphy very hard. He sat by the pool every day practicing calligraphy, seeing off the dusk and welcoming the dawn. He wrote countless inks and destroyed countless pens. After practicing calligraphy every day, he washes his pen in the pool, and the water in the pool is washed into ink after a long time. This is the legendary Mo Chi that people see in Shaoxing now.
