Wu Tiyu's introduction

Wu Tiyu (1929-2009), a native of Xinhua, Hunan Province, whose real name is Wu Diyu, whose name is Chao Ji, and whose name is Xijiang Woodman, is also a strange man in yujiang county. Gifted, four-year-old Linchi, has been working hard for more than 70 years. He studied the styles of Erwang, Ou, Yan, Liu, Zhao, Chu and Banqiao, which originated from the ancients but were different from them. His regular script is rigorous, clumsy, elegant and unique, and is called "Wu Style" in the world. Wu Tiyu's thousand-character script and Wu Tiyu's calligraphy have been published by Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House and Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House, and dozens of monuments have been built in places of interest such as Yuelu Academy, which is a master of modern regular script, and another peak in the development history of regular script since the Tang Dynasty. His son Wu Jiangwan is collecting and sorting out his works, and has signed a contract with Founder of Peking University to jointly launch Founder Wushu font library. On February 23rd, 2009, Mr. Wu Tiyu, a famous scholar in Hunan, died at home at the age of 8 1.
