According to Article 1- 16 of the Articles of Association of Beijing Calligraphers Association, the membership requirements are as follows:
Article 11 People from all walks of life who have registered permanent residence in Beijing, bought houses in Beijing, lived in a fixed work unit for more than three years, and have made certain achievements in the field of calligraphy art have high ideological and cultural quality, meet the requirements for joining the association, agree to the articles of association, and meet one of the following conditions:
1, with a high creative level, participated in one big exhibition or two special exhibitions sponsored by our association;
2. He has made great achievements in theoretical research. He has published two calligraphy theory articles or theoretical monographs or papers in professional newspapers and periodicals in provinces and cities, and was selected into the calligraphy theory work conference organized by this association;
3, engaged in calligraphy education, editing and publishing or calligraphy organization for many years (more than five years), and made outstanding contributions;
4. Excellent graduates with formal undergraduate diploma of calligraphy major in institutions of higher learning have been selected for exhibitions organized by the Association or published two calligraphy theory articles in provincial and municipal newspapers; Those who have a formal degree or above in calligraphy and actively participate in the activities of this association.
Article 12 Applicants for membership must be introduced by two members, reviewed by the Association Liaison Department and approved by the Presidium before becoming members of the Association.
Thirteenth members have the right to vote and be elected, and have the right to supervise, criticize and make suggestions on the work of this association.
Fourteenth members should abide by the articles of association, implement the resolutions of the association, complete the work entrusted by the association, safeguard the unity of the association and pay the membership fees on time.
Fifteenth members who seriously violate the articles of association or lose their civil rights and interests due to legal sanctions shall be suspended or cancelled with the approval of the presidium.
Sixteenth members have the freedom to quit the club. Members often don't participate in the activities organized by the club for no reason, and those who don't pay their dues for two consecutive years are regarded as voluntarily quitting the club.
