First, insist on standing and writing. Whether a book has a pen power depends on whether a pen can be lifted in your hand, whether the pen can stand up and make it stand upright. Chiang Kai-shek's peace talks in the Qing Dynasty used a pen cloud: "If you are good at dancing steel pipes, you must be good at using guns, and your strength lies in the tip of your gun." Only when the pen tip is upright, rather than dragging it flat, can paper be fed and it will be astringent. The lines written are like casting and carving, dignified and calm.
In ancient times, the so-called metaphors of cone-shaped sand painting, Yin Yinni and leak mark all refer to pens used to stand on the front. In the Tang Dynasty, Zhang Huaiguan "carved gold like stone with a long cone, and sat thousands of miles with this pen". Ming Dong Qichang said: "Those who have studied calligraphy for 30 years and can't prove it are all from the beginning to the end, and they are bound to their ears." It also said, "When you start writing, you must pick up the pen, but don't let it die, but you will never pass it on." People who know this language can only write wonderful truths with a pen.
The key to attention is to make use of the flexibility of a good pen, improve the situation, and it is more related to skills. When the skill comes, even if it is extremely soft and long, the wool is constantly in conflict.
Beginners may not realize the flexibility of the front end at first, and the front end cannot stand up. They can use something as soft as a bamboo stick to press hard and try to hold it up, pay attention to the pen tip, understand its action skills, and then apply it to the brush pen to draw inferences and get its meaning, thus realizing the brushwork.
Second, pens are everywhere. Every point of painting, from beginning to end, in all directions, should be the trajectory of the pen. As the saying goes, pens should be used at home. If you write less, you must mention it in the middle, so that the pen tip can reach the original position where the pen belly is pressed, so that the pen force can fully act on the paper, so that you can get a solid and dignified brush stroke at the end of the pen.
