Drawing steps of lotus diagram of water

There are detailed steps in the book Li Xiaoming Gongbi Painting.

Step one:

Light ink outlines the flower heads, while medium ink hooks the leaves. Thick ink marks the leaves.

The original thread used by Song people, especially the flower head, is very thin and the ink color is very light. When copying, you should avoid the habit of using thread at ordinary times and try to be close to the original.

The double hook method is used for the reinforcement of the poplar leaves, which is also different from the current popular treatment method of keeping the waterline on both sides of the reinforcement of the poplar leaves.

Step two:

Light ochre ink color (Zhu Qing+ink+a little eosin) shading brush background color.

After drying, use overnight ochre (mixed with cinnabar and ink and left overnight) to evenly coat the background color for three times (flowers, leaves and other parts are not coated). Overnight color has dross, which can have a rough texture effect and help to set off the moist feeling of petals.

Pale white flat painted flower head.

Inverted leaves and branches are painted with ochre (a little grass green can be added to ochre). The positive leaves and lotus leaves are painted with old green (grass green+a little rouge).

Step 3:

The flower head is dyed with light eosin several times (the color must be fine).

When dyeing, it should be noted that the reverse valve dyeing can be one or two times more than the positive valve dyeing.

The opposite leaves and branches are dyed grass green, and the branches are dyed from both sides to the middle. The waterline on both sides of the reverse leaf Ye Jin is close to the modern positive leaf treatment method. Subsequently, the reverse leaves were dyed with light vermilion from the leaf edge to the root.

Lotus is dyed with ochre, and the deepest part is dyed with ink.

The roots of petals, that is, around the lotus, can be dyed with rouge and cinnabar as a whole, which makes the stamens bright when dyed.

Yang leaves are dyed with cyanine for many times, and the tendons of Yang leaves should be consciously squeezed out. The more the roots are squeezed, the more obvious this feeling is. The edge should be weakened, and the overall relationship between light and shade should always be harmonious, so as to avoid excessive local depiction.

Step 4:

The positive leaves continue to be dyed with dark cyan (cyanine+ink), and the fine veins are outlined with light cyan (cyanine+ink).

Where the petals cover each other, use a very light gray-green (three green+a little ink) to lighten the relationship between light and shade. Don't dye it

The tips of petals were stained with strong eosin, and then with moderate concentration of rouge. Rouge is cold, which is different from the warm color of Eosin. Dyed with rouge, the petals will be redder. Beginners can also use this method when drawing other pink flower heads.

Reverse leaf. The branches are all covered and dyed thin and green (three green+white). Among them, the branches are dyed from the middle to both sides, and the reverse leaves are dyed from the roots to the edges. At the same time, the bright side of lotus and lotus seed is dyed with five greens.

The petal roots around the lotus flower continue to be stained with faint rouge and a little Zhu.

Step five:

It is very important to dye petals with moderate concentration of white, and the treatment methods can not be the same. In some places, the petals are squeezed out, and in some places, the petals above are set off, so some places may be dyed at the root and some places may be dyed in the middle. In short, most of the white powder is still dyed in the middle of the petals, and it is dyed to the root and tip of the petals respectively.

Pale eosin outlines the edge of petals and draws a fine vein.

Light ink hook silk, and then use orange (Garcinia+Zhu Qing) to hook silk again.

Pale flowers, green flowers, veinlets of positive leaves. You can use a pen casually.

Dot thick white powder on the stamens. After drying, use a very light carmine color to slightly dot the middle of the stamens to better express the three-dimensional sense of the stamens.

Except Ye Jin, the positive leaves were once again covered with a layer of green grass.

According to the overall relationship of the picture, adjust the big light-dark relationship of the positive leaf as a whole. Adjust the overall light-dark relationship of the reverse leaf with light ochre ink.

Thick rouge lit the point at the top of the lotus seed.
