Refers to the calligrapher Yan Zhenqing. The salt in Liu Jiazhong's eyes refers to the calligraphers Yan Zhenqing, Yan Zhenqing, alias Xian, alias Zhao Jingwannian (now Xi, Shaanxi Province), whose ancestral home is Linyi (now Linyi, Shandong Province), a famous official, calligrapher and secretary supervisor in the Tang Dynasty, Yan Shigu V, the grandson and brother of Situqing, and one of the four masters of regular script.
