I have liked writing calligraphy since I was a child, maybe because of my mother. My mother has never learned calligraphy, but she is self-taught and can write calligraphy quite well. When I was a child, I didn't know whether it was because I didn't have my mother's talent, or I was too young, but I started scribbling as soon as I picked up the brush, and I made a joke about it.
I remember one time, it was almost time for dinner, but I was still sitting at the dinner table drawing pictures. When my mother saw this, she was afraid that I would be hungry, so she secretly took away the ink on the dining table and put the carrot soup on that spot. Unexpectedly, I was so engrossed in drawing that I just dipped the pen into the place where I had put the ink. Without even looking at it, I started working hard again. "Hey, is the ink broken? Why isn't it black?" Silly, I thought there was something wrong with the ink, so I shouted: "Mom, mom, come here quickly, the quality of this ink is too bad. Everything turned white." My mother believed it and dropped what she was doing to see what happened. When my mother walked up to me, she was stunned. She couldn't laugh or cry, because such a good bowl of carrot soup was ruined. I looked at my mother's expression and didn't know what happened, so I asked, "Mom, what's wrong with you?" Seeing that I didn't know what I was doing, my mother laughed so hard that her stomach hurt. She couldn't speak at all and just pointed. Pointing to the carrot soup on the table. When I saw it, I burst into laughter...
Now, my calligraphy has improved a lot, and I have won many awards in various types of competitions. The most unforgettable thing for me was winning the first prize in a national youth calligraphy competition. However, I am not proud of this. I will work harder in the future and strive to reach a higher level
