Where is Chang Hanbo in JJ Lin's Cao Cao?

Changbanpo is in Dangyang

The ancient site of Changbanpo, located in the central city of dangyang city, was the land of Xuanwei in Zhao Zilong during the Three Kingdoms period. Here, the rest of Jingshan Mountain, the Ling Gang area formed by the east branch and the south branch, was called "Dangyang Changban" or "Dangyang Sakban" in ancient times. In ancient times, this place was near Yunmengze. Although the lake was later deposited as land, by the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, there were still many waterlogged areas and water networks. Therefore, since ancient times, Changbanpo has been the only pass of China's north-south traffic trunk line, and the battle of Changbanpo took place here during the Three Kingdoms period.

According to historical records, in the autumn of the 13th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 208), Cao Cao sent troops south to Jingzhou after destroying the northern heroes. At this time, Liu Biao, the separatist in Jingzhou, died of illness, and his son Liu Cong surrendered without a fight. Liu Bei, who was stationed in Fancheng, felt that the situation was lonely and dangerous, and was forced to lead the troops, Jingzhou officers and soldiers and the people who did not want to surrender to Jiangling, the important town of Jingzhou. Cao Cao heard the news, fearing that Jiangling would become a future trouble, and made the fine rider catch up with it. After a journey of more than 300 miles a day and night, the two armies met. Liu Bei rushed to the battlefield and was defeated. He abandoned his wife and fled in a hurry. Zhao Zilong, the guardian of Liu Bei's family, fought against Cao Bing when he was in danger, and saved Mrs. Gan and her young master, which became famous all over the world. The land is obvious to all, and people attach importance to it. Since then, Changbanpo, a hill with no secluded peaks and valleys, has become a famous and fascinating resort.

In the tenth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, people of insight of the landlord authorities set up a monument of "the heroic spirit of Nagano" here to commemorate the great achievements of Zhao Zilong's Changbanpo War for the world to mourn. Its monument was re-carved during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and in 1936, Xiong Xingpu, the magistrate of Dangyang County, and Wang Yujiu, the commander of the local garrison, jointly built Changbanpo Park here to enhance its appearance and show the martial spirit of the ancestors. During War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Japanese army occupied Xiong Feng, and the invaders ransacked the monument. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Dangyang County ordered Hu Ciping to re-engrave the tablet of "Xiong Feng in Nagano" on 1947 to restore its old system.

After liberation, Changbanpo Park was built many times and became a place for people to rest and visit. 1979, Dangyang County People's Government set up Changbanpo Park Management Office here, and successively invested in building, expanding, repairing pavilions, building corridors, building pavilions and building walls, and shaping the statue of Zhao Zilong, so as to reproduce the glory of that year. 1980 was approved by Hubei provincial people's government as one of the tourist areas in the province and officially opened to the outside world. With the development of China's reform and opening up, the dangyang city Municipal People's Government renamed the Changbanpo Park Management Office as "Changbanpo Battle Site Management Office" in 2000, which expanded the management scope of scenic spots and further implemented the planning and construction. Now, the "Xiong Feng" monument has been renovated, and the "Battle of Changbanpo" exhibition hall has been set up to show the world the history and culture of the Battle of Changbanpo. At the same time, contemporary couplets, poems, works by famous calligraphers, and inscriptions recited by scholars in past dynasties will be carved into stones, and the monument gallery of Changbanpo will be established, so that tourists can enjoy jade rhyme, Qigong, Li Duo's Fan Ceng, Mo Bao and other poems and appreciate the charm of China's traditional culture while sightseeing. In addition, the nearby "Prince Bridge", "Niangniang Well" and "Zhang Yide Mao Heng" have all been restored, which are the scenic spots of the ancient battlefield in Changbanpo.
