1. Zhaoyin Temple
Zhaoyin Mountain was originally called Beast Cave Mountain. It was named after Dai Yong, a famous artist from the Southern Dynasties, lived here in seclusion and refused to be benevolent. Zhaoyin Temple was first built on the mountain and was rebuilt from Dai Yong's former residence. Dai Yong only gave birth to one daughter. After Dai Yong's death, the daughter decided not to marry and turned her house into a temple, hence the name Zhaoyin Temple.
2. Hupao Spring
On the left side of the mountain road, it is said that when Zen Master Fa'an of the Eastern Jin Dynasty first came to the mountain, he had difficulty drinking water, so a tiger dug out this spring for him, hence the name Hupao Spring. . The spring is a square pool with a well in the middle. The spring is in the well. The water is clear and can be used to make tea. There is Hupao Pavilion, also known as Huquan Pavilion, which is rectangular and has a beautiful and elegant design.
During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, Yuan Jizu rebuilt the square pool and renamed it "Eternal Ever Clear Pool", indicating that the spring water is always clear to the bottom, so Hupao Pavilion is also called "Eternal Ever Clear Pavilion".
3. Jiuhua Mountain
Jiuhua Mountain is one of the three major mountain systems in southern Anhui. Its main body is a strong fault uplift zone composed of granite rock mass. Except for some sedimentary rocks, most of its edge areas are folded fault blocks and slightly uplifted zones composed of granodiorite. Jiuhua Mountain is located in the northern subtropical zone. It is not only affected by the humid monsoon, but also restricted by the altitude and topography of the mountain. Therefore, it has the characteristics of a mild, humid, and cool mountain climate.
4. Mi Gong Temple
Mi Fu appreciated the beautiful scenery of Zhenjiang, painted for decades, and built three residences. At the foot of Beigu Mountain, there is Haiyue Nunnery with natural paintings; beside Qianqiu Bridge, there is Xishan Academy with an acre of shade; in the southern suburbs, next to Helin Temple, there is a jingshe titled "Urban Forest". Mi Fu died of illness at the military residence in Huaiyang when he was fifty-seven years old. His son Mi Yuanhui followed his father's last wish and buried his body in front of Helin Temple.
5. Maoshu Lotus Pond
There is a small pond on the left side of Helin Temple. It is said to have been dug by Zhou Dunyi (also known as Maoshu) in the Song Dynasty, so it is called Maoshu Lotus Pond. Zhou Dunyi, a philosopher in the Northern Song Dynasty, lost his father when he was young. He came to town with his mother to live with his uncle's house. He was friendly with the monk Shouya of Helin Temple. He once stayed in the temple to study. He loved lotus flowers most in his life.
The author of "The Theory of Love and Lotus" has been recited by the world. He dug a square pond in the temple, planted lotus flowers, and called it Ai Lian Pond, or Maoshu Lotus Pond.
