The Life of the Characters in Yang Haifeng's Works

Learning Experience Yang Haifeng was influenced by his father, Mr. Yang Jinxi (the second generation disciple of Qi Baishi, who studied under Mr. Yang Xiuzhen and Mr. Qi Liangchi) and studied calligraphy and painting since childhood. In primary school, I studied sketching with xushui county Cultural Center, studied fine arts and calligraphy in Levin Normal School, and mainly studied calligraphy after taking part in work. It has been 30 years now. Chu Suiliang and Yan Zhenqing were the most diligent. They turned to running script, so they learned from Wang Xizhi, Wang Xianzhi, the monk Zhiyong, Mi Fei in the Song Dynasty, Zhao Mengfu in the Yuan Dynasty, Tang Yin and Wen Zhiming in the Ming Dynasty, and buried themselves in it for several years. After learning cursive script, I was immersed in the schools of Erwang, Huai Su, Zhang Xu, Sun and Wang Duo for several years. Since 2006, I feel that the foundation is not enough, and I have learned two kinds of brushwork of seal script and official script, dating back to seal script and official script, and I have learned the stone drum and Shimen ode to understand the brushwork of seal script. Yang Haifeng's calligraphy works have participated in many national, provincial and municipal exhibitions.

During the decades of studying calligraphy, Yang Haifeng deeply studied the way to use the pen, asked many teachers for advice, and learned from many families. He enjoyed it both in summer and winter, laying a solid foundation for calligraphy. After decades of hard study, he dabbled in a wide range, studied calligraphy deeply and mastered five subjects. He created a large number of works of art and formed his own unique style of calligraphy. First, the traditional skills are profound, and all the bodies are fine. There are in-depth studies on the cursive script of Zhuanlikai. After a long period of study, he inherited the ancient calligraphy art in an all-round way, with profound traditional skills and exquisite brushwork. The second is to nourish the spirit with books, nourish the body with words, and make achievements outside words. Besides reading, I read widely, especially focusing on philosophy, aesthetics, calligraphy, literature and ancient poetry. I studied under Ming Dow and wrote books close to Taoism. With modern aesthetic consciousness, some rhythms and tastes of sister art, and literary accomplishment, a distinctive personal style has been formed. Thirdly, calligraphy learning emphasizes my existence, learning and analysis; In the creation, it is emphasized that there is no me, no me, no me, no me, no me. Try to be perfect with a pen, and the breath is natural and seamless. The book style is heavy, steady and elegant.
