Li Derui, pen name is Li Rui. Born in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province in 1948. He is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, an executive director of the Hebei Calligraphers Association, the chairman of the Cangzhou Calligraphers Association, a professional calligrapher and a second-level artist at the Cangzhou Painting Academy. In 1999, he was named one of the "Top 100 Chinese Calligraphers" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In 2001, he was awarded the title of "Double Virtue and Art" member by the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
