On August 6, 20 17, at 15: 00 sharp, Hans Zhang's calligraphy exhibition co-sponsored by Anhui Art Vocational College, Anhui Calligraphy Association and Anhui Buddhism Association was held in Yaming Art Museum in Baohe Park, Hefei. Mr. Wu Xue, Chairman of Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Secretary of the Secretariat, Mr. Wang Rui, Secretary of the Party Committee of Anhui Art Vocational College, and more than 200 people, including the leaders of the organizers, friends, family members and calligraphy lovers of Mr. Hans Zhang, attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Wang Rui, Party Secretary of Anhui Art Vocational College, delivered a speech. He spoke highly of Hans Zhang's spirit of popularizing traditional culture, seriously studying teaching materials and teaching methods, and devoting himself to education for decades. Mr. Wu Xue, Chairman of Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Secretary of the Secretariat, made a speech entitled "Written on the First Anniversary of the Death of Hans Zhang", which highly praised and affirmed his selfless contribution to the revitalization of Anhui book circles, as well as his character and books. Later, Hans Zhang's family delivered a thank-you speech.
Hans Zhang (1936-20 16) is a professor of fine arts in Anhui Art Vocational College and a famous calligrapher. He used to be a member of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Anhui Calligraphers Association, member of academic committee of Calligraphy Education Research Association of China Education Association, president of Anhui Calligraphy Correspondence College, president of Anhui Calligraphy Education Research Association, vice president of Anhui Seal Cutting Research Association, and professor of Hefei China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University.
Engaged in calligraphy education for more than 50 years, Zhang Hansi made a serious study of teaching materials and teaching methods. His calligraphy style is simple, ancient but not muddy, integrating calligraphy, poetry, epigraphy and Chinese painting, and integrating Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism into calligraphy.
His calligraphy style is high and ancient, showing Wei and Jin demeanor in calligraphy, which is superior to Ming and Qing dynasties and close to Qin and Han dynasties, and ranks first in the art world. Hans Zhang is not only unique in art, but also devoted himself to teaching and educating people, and founded Anhui Calligraphy Correspondence College. He has written a lot in his life, and his calligraphy talent has been cultivated all over the country by books such as canoe in the sea of books, general knowledge of calligraphy (co-authored), gossip and calligraphy, and summary of writing techniques. In his later years, he made in-depth research on Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, and wrote The Dictionary of Artists in China and The Dictionary of Calligraphers and Celebrities in China. He is a respected scholar.
This exhibition focuses on the works of Hans Zhang in the middle and late period, covering various calligraphy styles, including long scrolls, vertical axes, fan faces, seal cutting and so on. Among them, the 6-meter-long scroll "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" and the 4-foot-6-screen "Qinyuanchun Changsha" are exhibited for the first time. With superb calligraphy skills and rich academic connotations, these works fully show the elegant demeanor and essence of Mr. Zhang Hansi's calligraphy art, and embody Mr. Zhang Hansi's noble moral sentiments and selfless feelings of patriotism, love for the people and love for the hometown.
This exhibition lasts for one week, which makes the public fully feel Mr. Zhang Hansi's valuable, independent and wise attitude towards life, his exploration and research on artistic path, his pursuit of spiritual realm, and his spirit of keeping pace with the times and vigorous progress.
