At the beginning of the East Palace, Chen was named king and appointed as the priest of Yongzhou. Yonghui was established as a prince in 652.
In 656, Tang Gaozong deposed the Crown Prince of Jong Li, renamed him Liang Wang, and appointed him as the Governor of Liangzhou (and a secretariat of Liangzhou). In the same year, he was appointed as Zhou Fang's secretariat. In 660, Tang Gaozong abandoned it as Shu Ren and moved to Ganzhou, where he was imprisoned in Li Chenggan's former residence.

Li Hong (652-675), the fifth son of Li Zhi, Tang Gaozong, and the eldest son of Wu Zetian, was the second prince established in the period of Emperor Gaozong, who died in the throne, and was the first prince to be made emperor in the Tang Dynasty.
Li Hong was born in the palace in the third year of Yonghui (652). In the sixth year of Yonghui (655), he was appointed as the Crown Prince, and in the year of Xian Qingyuan (656), he was filial and kind since childhood, caring for the people after the Prince, and wrote to Emperor Gaozong to amend unreasonable laws and intercede for two convicted sisters, which won the favor of Emperor Gaozong.
In the second year of Shangyuan (675), Li Hong traveled to Luoyang with the emperor and suddenly died in the Hall of Gongyunqi, Hebei Province, at the age of 23. The cause of death is controversial. Deeply saddened by this, the emperor made an exception and posthumously awarded Prince Li Hong as emperor. Posthumous title was a "filial piety" and was buried in Gong Ling with the gift of the son of heaven.
6. Sixth son Li Xian was forced to commit suicide.

Yonghui was born in the twelfth lunar month (65438+October 655), formerly known as Lu Wang. He received a good education since he was a child, and was named Prince by Wang Bo, one of the "four outstanding men in the early Tang Dynasty".
Handsome, dignified and quick-thinking, he was deeply loved by his father Li Zhi. In the second year of Shang Yuan (675), after the sudden death of Prince Li Hong, he was canonized as the Crown Prince. During this period, he supervised the country three times, which was praised by Tang Gaozong, admired by the ruling and opposition parties, and doubted by Wuhou.
In 680, Diao Lu was deposed as Shu Ren and exiled to Bazhou on charges of rebellion. In the first year of civilization (684), after Wu Zetian abolished the emperor's administration, she forced herself to commit suicide for the sake of the cruel official Qiu Xiaoshen, at the age of 29.
7. Seven sons, Tang Zhongzong Li Xian, were poisoned by his wife Wei Hou and his daughter Princess Anle.
