Wang Xiren (1943~) is a pen name author. A native of Lanzhou, Gansu. Member of the calligraphy and painting creation committee of the China Academy of Art, art steering committee member and visiting professor of the Chinese History Museum Gallery, member of the Shandong World Kite City Art Garden Calligraphy and Painting Association, director of the Modern Chinese Character Remaining Calligraphy Society, and member of the Gansu Provincial Calligraphers Association. In 1992, he participated in the "Four Wo Cup" National Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Grand Prix and won the Excellence Award in the 3rd China Art Festival "Peacock Cup" Hard Pen Calligraphy Exhibition. His works were selected into the 2nd National Hard Pen Calligraphy Art Works Exhibition and the 1993 Commemoration of Zhou Enlai. Exhibition of hard-ink calligraphy works for the 95th anniversary of his birth, "Golden Goose Award" international calligraphy and painting competition, etc. His calligraphy works have won the Excellence Award in the 3rd "Emei Cup" National Grand Prix, the Excellence Award in the 2nd Outstanding Member Works Exhibition of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, etc., and have been collected by the China Academy of Art. His work participated in the Exhibition of Works by Celebrities in the Chinese Art Circle in Beijing and won the Silver Tripod Award. His works have been inscribed on stone in many steles forests such as Hanyuan Forest of Steles in China, and his works have been on tour in Tokyo, Nanjing, and Beijing. Participated in the National Contemporary Calligraphy Masters Exhibition and the Asian Art Exhibition and won special awards.
