Wei Yongling, Han nationality, 1956, from Linfen, Shanxi. He was a professional painter and later studied at Jilin Art Institute. National first-class calligrapher, national first-class artist, vice president of China Royal Painting and Calligraphy Institute. He is currently a member of China Calligraphers Association, a member of China Couplet Association, a senior researcher of China Calligraphy Research Institute, a director of China Calligraphy Artists Association and a director of China Calligraphers Association. Member of China Fine Arts Society, Dean of China Artist Magazine Painting and Calligraphy Institute, national first-class calligrapher and national first-class artist.
