Who wrote the calligraphy Huashan? Two calligraphers went to court to argue for words.

Today, the word "Huashan" carved on a boulder in Xihuashan Scenic Area recently triggered a lawsuit-a famous calligrapher filed a lawsuit against Weinan Intermediate People's Court, claiming that the inscription was Zhao's "Huashan" and it was his calligraphy work. According to today's China Business Daily, a member of China Calligraphers Association, vice chairman of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association and professor of An Academy of Fine Arts objected when they found that the name "Huashan" was written by Zhao on 1988, so they sued Zhao in Weinan Intermediate People's Court, believing that Zhao had infringed his intellectual property rights. Zhao is a retired cadre of Shaanxi People's Publishing House, famous for his calligraphy, and a well-known calligrapher in Shaanxi Province. Zhao said that the word "Huashan" was originally inscribed by him for the Huashan Calendar published by Shaanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House 1993, and it was also used in the Huashan Guide Map, while the word "Huashan" carved on the boulder in the East China Mountain Gate came from the Huashan Guide Map.
