Brief introduction of Kong Weike's art

The Confucius family has a history of about 2500 years since Confucius. This huge family passed down from the same ancestor Confucius really enjoyed special honors and titles in every century and dynasty. However, the royal family, which had absolute power in the past dynasties, was like the sun and dirt in the change, but the Kong family lasted forever. Huaxia Calligraphy and Painting Network will open a column for Mr. Kong Weike.

As the saying goes: "Ancient family rituals are rare in three generations, but I, Confucius, am proud of my title and handed it down from generation to generation." In the heyday of 2500 years, people with the same surname in 2500 years have adhered to the genealogy from generation to generation: "Several generations standing on the same line are different from each other, so they are not divided into old and young", which continues the blood and interprets the thoughts and conduct of their ancestors. This is really an unprecedented family in human history. In order to "distinguish the truth from the false", since the 56th generation of feast duke Mr. Kong Xixue, the world's Kong family has been divided into 20 schools and 60 families, among which the family listed as the first school is a direct descendant.

Kong Weike, a famous painter and vice chairman and secretary general of Shandong Artists Association, is the 78th generation grandson of this big family. According to the generation, the word "dimension" has "virtue" before it and "droop" after it. Kong Weike was born in Wenshang County (Wenshang County was called "Zhongdu Country" in the Spring and Autumn Period). In the ninth year of Lu, Confucius worked here, and his ancestors were Kong Zhenning, the younger brother of the 63rd Duke Kong Zhengan.

During the period of 1956, the whole growth period of Kong Weike coincided with a special year of disrespect for Confucius. His family was persecuted and his father was exiled to the northeast as a doctor, but he still got the support of his mother and was able to concentrate on his studies. Even if she dropped out of school at home, she never gave up her hobby of painting, which cannot but be attributed to the sense of honor and responsibility of her family, which continued solemnly and proudly on her mother.

Kong Weike is the only figure painter among the descendants of Confucius who is active in the field of modern Chinese painting and has made outstanding achievements. It's true. Kong Weike, a native of Qufu and a native of Wenshang, Shandong Province, was born on June 1956. He is the 78th descendant of Confucius.

He is good at China figure painting, with both meticulous and freehand brushwork. 1997 was awarded the title of Top 100 Painters in China by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Artists Association. He is currently a director of China Artists Association, president of Shandong Painting Academy, vice chairman of Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, executive vice chairman of Shandong Artists Association, member of the Standing Committee of Shandong Provincial Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of Shandong Provincial Committee of Chinese Revolutionary Committee, special researcher of China Academy of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture, and national first-class artist.

Kong Weike is good at Chinese painting. Besides painting, he also dabbled in the field of calligraphy. For decades, he has made in-depth research on regular script, seal script, Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Han bamboo slips, and his books have won wide acclaim from experts. He pays attention to independent artistic thinking, and often writes some essays and art criticism articles, which are scattered in newspapers and periodicals. Yan Gengtang's Prose Collection published in 2002 won the second Liu Xie Literary Criticism Award in Shandong Province. No matter how busy he is at work, he insists on sketching for a long time. These vivid feelings from life provide rich artistic nutrition for his creation.

He has held joint exhibitions in Beijing, Shenzhen, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan Province, the United States, South Korea, Austria, France and Germany, and held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Qufu, Jinan, Australia and New Zealand. There are 15 kinds of paintings and calligraphy collections, such as Kong Weike's paintings, Kong Weike's paintings, Kong Weike's fan-shaped paintings, Kong Weike's classical figure paintings, Kong Weike's calligraphy collections, Kong Weike's works criticism collections and Kong Weike's art collections.

Shandong Artists Association has been deputy secretary-general, secretary-general, vice-chairman, executive vice-chairman and secretary-general for nearly 20 years from 65438 to 0987. Participate in planning or executing all large-scale art exhibitions, academic discussions and public welfare art activities in Shandong. The development and prosperity of Shandong fine arts in recent 20 years are inseparable from its specific work. At the same time, he also edited the Shandong Art Newsletter and a large number of paintings and albums, and planned and organized teaching activities such as Shandong art creation training over the years. As a descendant of Confucius, Kong Weike, with his works with profound cultural connotation and concentrated artistic tension, deduced objective images from concrete feelings and accurately expressed his eternal belief in Confucian style in the depths of his soul. Or it is a retrospective and indispensable commemoration of his difficult course of studying and seeking knowledge in his early years. Works seek "ancient" in pen and ink, and "new" in combination and concept.

Kong Weike illustrated six kinds of arts. "Rite, Music, Shooting, Imperial, Calligraphy and Mathematics" is a compulsory course for Confucius to teach Confucian scholars, and it is also a part with "practical" significance in Confucius' thought. Kong Weike thinks that "Six Arts" is the most comfortable and expressive cadenza in Confucius' life. Therefore, Kong Weike's works are basically based on six emotions to conceive the picture. The interest and structure of sketch in literati painting are pen and ink, and the image is to demonstrate the form of six arts with concrete Confucius. Although the six fan diagrams in Six Arts Diagram are not Kong Weike's representative works, "The figures are simple and exquisite, but they are also harmonious; The scenery is unique and comfortable with good density. " It is also an elegant taste. In particular, the archaic tone in form, coupled with the increase of characters with the same frame size, is elegant and elegant, which fully shows the aura of Kong Weike's education and his personal style based on good artistic feeling and aesthetic taste.

In the long and endless cultural and historical process of China, the strength of its cornerstone and pillar is often dispersed and injected into every kind of humanistic thing in a subtle way. What we understand today is the influence of teaching practice and tradition. But compared with Kong Weike, it adds another factor, that is, blood that can never be replaced and forged, which is also an indispensable consciousness in his paintings. We have noticed that since 1993, Kong Weike has been constantly creating works with Confucius as the theme, and at the same time, the "sense of mission" in his works has become increasingly prominent and strong.

Kong Weike adopts a panoramic layout, surrounded by vast fields, ancient roads, huge stones, ancient trees, birds and travelers, making people see that two thousand years ago, huge stones were towering, wild fields were swinging, ancient roads were long and the sky was boundless; See the desolation and tragic; In troubled times, I saw the philosopher's persistent ambition and grand sense of historical mission. After a detailed exhibition, we can find that this work is exquisite, and every detail shows its skill and talent. Kong Weike is a flexible and proficient person, which is also the Confucian principle of "Avenue". He applied the advantages of oil painting to the modeling and treatment of meticulous painting, which also has the characteristics of "artistic management, nine failures and one blow, multi-layer smudging, overall paving, vertical painting and decorative flavor". Specific to physical objects, such as composition, he chose an open panorama and spent a quarter of his time crossing the horizon of heaven and earth to expand his horizons and increase his visual tension; The local branches are oblique, the rocks are scattered, and the dirt roads are tortuous, which is also shocking and terrible.

Road drawing technology

Kong Weike drew a wide road. Judging from the characters themselves and scenes, he has made great efforts in the three major themes of Chinese painting-characters, landscapes and flowers and birds. Judging from the picture skills, he can master both meticulous painting and freehand brushwork. From the subject matter, whether it is classical or modern, whether it is rural or urban, whether it is large or lyrical sketches, he has found the right language to express it; He can not only draw large paintings such as Bai Ying Dian Quan (10m× 3m), Confucius and his disciples' seventy-two sages (2.5m× 5.4m) and a letter on the bus (2m× 2m), but also draw full-scale picture books and fan paintings, and he has also published fan paintings.

At the same time of writing, Kong Weike once again showed his understanding of "the sense of hardship to save the nation and the sincere heart to serve the country" in another form. It is worth mentioning that On the Bus, although it does not directly talk about the paintings of ancestors, its spirit and feelings are no different from those of Confucianism, and it still expresses his admiration and practice of the Confucian artistic view of "enlightening and helping others". This work is another masterpiece of Kong Weike. Some people compare this work with the picture of Confucius traveling around the world: it is also full of great wisdom and courage of Confucianism, but the emotional tone has changed from passionate to vigorous. In fact, On the Bus is his direct expression of Confucian style, especially Confucius' theory of sacrificing his life for righteousness. Kong Weike's artistic thought pursues the broad humanistic care of the East, the inclusive harmony between man and nature, the poetic classical complex, and the modern aesthetic consciousness, cultural trend and survival concept. He made a comprehensive study and exploration in the form of pictures, the aesthetic evolution of pen and ink, the expressive skills of lines and many other aspects. His series of works illustrate his profound thinking in these aspects. His works have formed a distinctive personal style, which has been widely concerned and praised by painters and art critics.
