Zhang Lei is a native of Qiao County, Bozhou, Qian Wen,No. Keshan. Ministers and writers in the northern song dynasty. Zhang Lei's On Poetry was written by Bai Juyi and Zhang Ji, and he became the latest among the four bachelor's degree students in Su (Qin Guan, Huang Tingjian, and Chao) to die and was deeply influenced by Tang Yin. The poetic style is plain and comfortable, uncut and sloppy. His words are elegant and graceful, and their styles are similar to those of Liu Yong and Qin Guan. There are many versions of the anthology handed down from ancient times in the Southern Song Dynasty: Luo published 10 volumes of Keshan Collection, Wang Zao published 30 volumes of Zhang Longge Collection, Zhang published 70 volumes of Zhang You Shi Wenji Collection, and Jing Hui published 100 volumes of Mr. Qiao Jun Collection (see Zhou Zizhi's Collected Works of Mr. Shu Qiaojun). Zhang Lei's political career was bumpy and full of misfortunes, but he never forgot to write poems. His works have been published and engraved by later generations for many times, such as Keshan Collection, Zhang You Shi Wenji and Wan Qiu Collection.
At present, there are four versions of his collected works: seventy-six volumes of Mr. Wan Qiu's collected works, Lu Cang banknote book in Qing Dynasty, Si Ku Quan Shu and so on. Fifty volumes and twelve volumes of Keshan Collection, including Wuyingtang Juyi Edition and Guangya Bookstore, are all included in Mr. Wan Qiu Collection instead of Keshan Collection. Sixty-five volumes of Zhang You Shi Wenji contain the Manuscript of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty and the Manuscript of Xie Putai in the seventh year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty.
