The author of "White Goose" is Feng Zikai. Feng Zikai has made outstanding achievements in comics, calligraphy, translation and other aspects. He has published more than 160 calligraphy and painting collections, prose works, art theory and music theory works.
His paintings mostly use children as subjects, are humorous and reflect social phenomena. They were included in primary school textbooks during the Republic of China, and his prose was included in Taiwanese Chinese textbooks. Among them, comics are favored by the world for their artistic proposition of "high quality and popular music" and the artistic characteristics of "the big can be seen in the small, and there is lingering sound beyond the strings".
Feng Zikai’s calligraphy brings to life the classic calligraphy of the Six Dynasties and the epitaph calligraphy of the Northern Wei Dynasty. In the writing, it is penetrated into the running script and cursive writing, especially the natural expression of Zhang Cao’s writing style, making the original script obviously regularized. The tendentious strokes are less blunt and more reflective, just like the comics and prose, with a unique and creative style.
Feng Zikai's calligraphy style was first learned from Ouyang Xun. After being admitted to the Zhejiang Provincial First Normal School, he transferred to the Northern Wei Dynasty under the influence of his teacher Li Shutong, and worked hard on "Zhang Menglong Monument", "Zhang Hei Nu Monument" and so on. Very diligent. Later, he followed the style of Zhang Cao's "Yue Yi Tie" to form his own style.
