Brief introduction of Rongtie

Rong Tie, formerly known as Ji, was born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province in 1963. He studies calligraphy at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. 1996 was admitted to the postgraduate class of calligraphy education in Capital Normal University. In 2002, he studied in the famous Chinese painting class of China Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2003, he was a visiting scholar in Peking University. At present, he is a director of China Artists Association, a director of China Calligraphers Association, a vice chairman of China Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, an executive director of NLD Central Academy of Fine Arts, a director of Xiling Printing Society, a director of China Calligraphy and Media Association, a researcher of China Academy of Art, an executive director of National Friendship Painting Academy, a national first-class artist, a visiting professor in Tsinghua University, the editor-in-chief of Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Figures magazine, and a member of the national cultural science expert group.
