Anhui native, graduated from Huang Lu Normal University, is a research librarian and a national first-class artist, enjoying special allowance from the State Council. He is good at calligraphy. At the age of fifteen, he wrote "In front of the Three Pagodas Temple" for the local ancient temple. Later, he focused on cursive script and studied official script and seal script. His works won the first prize of 1979 first national mass calligraphy manuscript appraisal, and were selected into the first and second national calligraphy seal cutting exhibitions, the Henan International Calligraphy Exhibition and the China Calligraphy Exhibition held in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Dagu, San Francisco, Chicago and new york. Many memorial halls, museums, libraries and scenic spots in China have exhibited, collected or inscribed their works. Calligraphy has published many works and made special presentations. Some of his works have been included in Selected Ink of Contemporary Couplets, Hundred Essences of China's Calligraphy and China's Calligraphy published in Japan.
