Brief introduction of Daya gallery
There are not many historic sites named "Daya Gallery". Du Fu's "Daya Gallery" in Chengdu Caotang is well known, but the earliest Daya Gallery, which is referred to by the idiom "elegant hall is hard to reach", is the "Daya Gallery" in Dan Ling County, Meishan City, Sichuan Province, and Dan Ling Daya Gallery is the only real elegant hall in China. It was built in the third year of Fuyuan in the Northern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1 100) by Su Yang, a famous poet in Dan Ling in the Song Dynasty (the grandfather of Li Dao, a historian in the Southern Song Dynasty), in order to realize Huang Tingjian's desire to carry forward Du Fu's poems under Liang Chuan and Kui. At that time, there were more than 300 poems written by Huang Tingjian, a famous calligrapher and poet in the Song Dynasty. Later, the Daya Gallery was destroyed by soldiers in the late Ming Dynasty. Unfortunately, the plaque in the hall no longer exists.
