Why are they called Injong Four Emperors?

Song Renzong Zhao Zhen, Xixia Renzong Li Renxiao, Xiliao Renzong Luye Yilie and Mingrenzong Zhu Gaochi, these four emperors were the emperors who won the title of Renzong Hall in China history. Therefore, there is a saying that "the four emperors are benevolent."

The fourth emperor of the Northern Song Dynasty was Zhao Zhen of Song Renzong.

"Renzong" refers to Zhao Zhen of Song Renzong, who was the longest-serving emperor in the Song Dynasty. "History of Song Dynasty" praised him: "It is said:' Being a monarch is only about benevolence.' The emperor is sincere and innocent. Historians summarized their rule as "Ren Zong was promoted to rule". He reigned for forty-two years. "Four Emperors" is because he is the fourth emperor in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Zhao Zhen knows how to make good use of people. During his reign, there were many famous ministers, the country was relatively stable, the economy was prosperous, and science, technology and culture developed greatly. He was kind by nature and was praised as a benevolent gentleman by later generations. Historians summarize the reign period as "the rule of Ren Zongsheng". He is good at calligraphy, especially at flying white books. The royal collection has 100 volumes.

Zhao Zhen is generous and not extravagant, but he can restrain himself and treat his courtiers and attendants generously. Bao Zheng, the admonisher, repeatedly hit Zhao Zhen in the face and even spat on his face. However, Zhao Zhen wiped his face with his sleeve and accepted his suggestion without blaming him.

"Renzong" is a beautiful name, and "benevolence" stands for kindness, kindness and so on. Confucius said that "self-denial is benevolence", which can restrain one's desires and emotions and act according to etiquette and righteousness, and is called benevolence.

Song Zhenzong's sixth son, Song Renzong, was kind and generous, and was also a famous dutiful emperor. During his reign, he yearned for the prosperity of Yao Shunyu, the ancient emperor, and supported Fu Bi, Fan Zhongyan, Han Qi and other famous ministers to carry out the "New Deal of Celebrating Success".

However, the New Deal measures violated the vested interests of conservatives and were forced to terminate because of heavy resistance. But Song Renzong was indeed a very hard-working emperor.
