I am practicing Luoyang running script. Is his copybook good?
I practiced about half of Luo Yang's running script in high school, and bought a few in college. Personally, I like his running script very much, which is atmospheric and suitable for my personality. In addition, his running script is easy to copy, and you can clearly see the coherent lines of his strokes, which is a unique choice for people like me who didn't practice calligraphy seriously when I was a child. I bought Pang Zhonghua's regular script and Anonymous's regular script before, but I sold them as waste paper after a few days of practice, so I can't practice. You can look at the words on the cover: copybooks designated by the Ministry of Education, and others are recommended copybooks. When a classmate took the Sima Yan route, I didn't see any progress. Fonts are too mature, too complicated and unsuitable, so they must be played by people with certain calligraphy knowledge.
